James John Gerald Glynn (Gerry) D.O.B 8 May 1942 – 20 Sept 2024

From Newcastle, Galway

20 September 2024 we said farewell to James John Gerald Glynn. On route back from a holiday to his beloved Galway, where he saw and spent happy times with family and friends Gerald passed away on the return flight. He was with his much-loved wife Mary, his son Michael John and daughter Deirdre. Gerald’s departure was quick and peaceful. We take solace in that he was happy having seen most of his family and lifelong friends and was spared the worst of dementia.

Beloved husband of Mary and sadly missed by his loving daughter Deirdre, sons Aidan and Michael John, sisters Eleanor, Emmie and Margaruite, brothers-in-law Edwin and Jim , son-in-law Ian, daughter-in -law Sarah, 6 beautiful granddaughters - Claire, Zoe, Hannah, Allie , Tegan and Maeve, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
