Gerald O’Shea
Gerald (Smiler) passed away peacefully on Thursday (6th of February 2025) at his home in the arms of his loving family.
Ger, cherished husband of Julie, beloved father of Ellen, Aoife and David and cherished son of Davy and Hannah. Ger will be deeply missed by all who loved him, his brothers Derek and Jamie, sisters Elaina and Andrea, uncles and aunts especially Tom and Eamon, sisters-in-law Sharon and Leela, brothers-in-law John, Stephen, Sean, Colin and Brendan, his many adored nieces and nephews, his work colleagues at Kilkenny County Council and many friends and neighbours.

Reposing on Saturday at Donnacha Doyle & Sons Funeral Home, Grannagh, Kilmacow from 3:00pm until 6:00pm. Ger’s funeral cortège will leave his family home on Sunday morning and walk to The Church of the Assumption Mooncoin for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Followed by burial in the new Cemetery, Mooncoin.
