Geraldine Barrett
(née Sweeney)
Geraldine Barrett (née Sweeney), Charlesland Park, Greystones, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Tivoli Terrace South, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. 13th August 2024, peacefully, surrounded by her adored family, while in the exceptional care of the staff of the Oncology Department, Beacon Hospital.
Loving wife of Tom, and devoted mother of Niall, Aisling, Thomas and Órla. Will be dearly missed by her family, brother’s Niall and Ciarán, daughters-in-law Katharine and Jeniffer, sons-in-law Dermot and Ray, cherished grandchildren Cillian, Éabha, Lúsaí, Lily, Molly, Sophie, Kate, Fiadh, Tommy, Saoirse, Pierce, Zoe, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends, especially her beloved best friend Christine.

Reposing at JP Ward & Sons Funeral Home, Sandyford Village (D18 C8P7) on Thursday, 15th August, from 4pm to 6pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 10am in the Holy Rosary Church, Greystones followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery. No flowers by request. Donations in memory of Geraldine, if desired, to Irish Cancer Society.
