Tonroe House, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon
November 14th, 2020 – Peacefully in her 94th, year at Oakwood Nursing Home, Ballaghaderreen. Pre-deceased by her husband Patrick (Paddy), son Michael and daughter-in-law Monica. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her sons John and Gerry, daughters Mary Ryan (Birmingham), Rosaleen Coleman (Ballaghaderreen) and Patricia Orsi (Donegal), her twenty one grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Kevin, Michael and Peter, daughter-in-law Patricia (London), brothers-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Geraldine will be removed from the Sharkey Funeral Home, Ballaghaderreen on Monday at 1.30pm to St. Nathy’s Cathedral arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 2pm, followed by Interment in Kilcolman cemetery.
However, in line with Government and H.S.E advice regarding public gatherings, a small private funeral will be held. Geraldine’s family would ask that over the coming days, everyone who knew her would take some time to light a candle or say a prayer in her memory.
