The death has occurred of Geraldine Donohoe (née Brady), Lakeview, Cloone, Co Leitrim, formerly of Carrigallen, Co. Leitrim and Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan, Sunday, 24th December 2023, suddenly at her residence. Predeceased by her husband; Pat, her brothers; Aiden and John Joe. Survived by her children; Siobhán, Jennifer, Declan, Fintan, Raymond, Andrea, Daniel, Jonathan, Lorraine and her grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her family, her brothers; Peter, Damien and Ciarán, her sisters; Philomena Quigley, Patricia McManus and Paula Brady-Donnelly, her nieces and nephews, good friends and neighbours.

Geraldine will lie in repose at Smiths Funeral Home, High Street, Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim (Eircode N41 TD62) on Friday, 29th December 2023, from 7.00pm – 9.00pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday, 30th of December 2023, in The Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan at 12 noon followed by cremation to Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan (Eircode H12 RF78) at 3.00pm.

No flowers by request please, donations in lieu to The Mater Foundation or Monastery of St. Mary of the Angels of Perpetual Adoration (Poor Clares), Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim c/o McKeon’s Funeral Directors, Cloone or any family member.
