Geraldine (Gegs) SCAIFE

Peacefully, on 28th December 2025, surrounded by her husband Joe (O’Reilly) and their children Aifric, Cian, and Eoin. Gegs is deeply missed by her husband, children, mother (Eileen), sisters (Caitriona, Sarah Jane, Ellen, Delia, and Patricia), brothers (Ronan and Daragh), grandchildren (Ailbhe, Aiden, Valentina, and Tadhg), extended family and friends.

 

A determined competitor in hockey (Trinity College, Cork Harlequins, and Old Alexandra), golf (Woodenbridge and Elm Park), and bowls (Herbert Park), Gegs will also be sorely missed by her friends and team mates in sport.

 

Funeral Ceremony to celebrate Gegs' life will take place on Friday 2nd January at 4pm in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6W, D6WHY98. For those who cannot attend, the Service can be viewed online using this link: The Victorian Chapel.
