TANSEY (née Matthews) (Cromlech Fields, Ballybrack and formerly of Casement Villas, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin) – September 13th 2020 peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Blackrock Hospice. Geraldine (Ger) gone to be with her bveloved daughter Eileen in heaven on her 40th birthday. She will be very sadly missed by her husband Mark, children Sharon, Wayne, Gavin, Lynne and Kerrie and their partners, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at her home this Monday evening from 5pm until 7pm.  Removal on Tuesday morning to the Church of S.S. Alphonsus & Columba, Ballybrack Village arriving at 9.50am.  Funeral immediately after 10am Requiem Mass to Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill.  Family flowers only please.  Donations if desired to the Blackrock Hospice. Donations can be made online. (The Tansey family invite those of you who feel comfortable to attend the family home, to share a memory and pay your respects to Ger and the family to please wear face coverings and sanitise your hands).  In accordance with Government guidelines on public gatherings, Ger’s Requiem Mass will be strictly limited to 50 persons.
