Geraldine McDermott

The death has occurred of Geraldine McDermott (née Matthews), Marshalrath, Dunleer, unexpectedly but peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda surrounded by her family. Geraldine, beloved wife and best friend of Joe and loving mother of Christine, Paul and Helen. Predeceased by her parents Matthew and Mary, brothers Fintan, Oliver, Cyril and Kieran and sisters Marie and Cecilia. Sadly missed by her husband, son, daughters, sister Angela, brothers Paddy, Liam and Fr. Jimmy S.C.J., brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, her adored grandchildren Amber and Karl, son-in-law Mark and Paul’s partner Rachael, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and her many friends.

Geraldine will repose at Connor’s Funeral Home, Dunleer (A92 V38H) on Thursday from 4pm until 8pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 12 noon in Saint Brigid's Church, Dunleer which can be viewed live at https://www.dunleerparish.ie/2015/06/st-brigids-church-tv/. Burial afterwards in Mosstown Cemetery.
