The death has occurred of
Gerard Barry
Barry (Cork) on February 4th 2026, unexpectedly but peacefully in the tender loving care of the staff at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice; Gerard (Laffins Court, Redemption Road). Beloved son of Thomas and the late Mary (nee Walsh), loving brother of Paula, Marguerite, Aidan and Tony. Sadly missed by his loving father, brothers, sisters, niece Leah, nephews Colin and Dylan, brothers-in-law Tony and Derry, sister-in-law Susan, relatives and friends, especially in Myo Café, Popes Quay.
Visitation at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Friday 6th February from 5pm-6pm with prayers at 5.45pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday 7th February at 10am in the North Cathedral. Funeral afterwards to St. Oliver’s Cemetery, Model Farm Road.
