Gerard Durnin

Gerard Durnin, Newtownbabe, Ardee Road, Dundalk. 6th June 2021.  Peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.  Gerard much loved husband and best friend of Noreen née Mc Mahon, dear father of Jennifer, Ian, Niall, Alan and Andrew, loving grandfather of Jake, Leah, Liam, Shane, Myles, Alex, Conor, Naoise, Matthew, Rachel and Mia and brother of Syl, Marie Donnolly and the late Paddy, and Jean Mc Parland.  Gerard will be sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law Noel, daughters-in-law Leona, Judith, Karen and Tina,  brother, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

House Strictly Private.

Due to Government guidelines Gerard’s Funeral Mass will take place privately for 50 family and close friends on Wednesday at 11.30am in St. Fursey’s Church, Haggardstown, followed by private Cremation.  The Mass can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/Haggardstown 

There will be an opportunity for the community to pay their respects as his cortège will leave his home, on the way to the Church.
