The death has occurred of
Gerard Flood
Flood, Gerard (Late of Greenhills, Dublin 12 and a life long standing member of the The Island Golf Club, Donabate) – 6th September, 2021 (peacefully) surrounded by his loving family under the exceptional care of all the staff in Ryevale Nursing Home, Leixlip and St James' Hospital. Predeceased by his loving wife Norah, son Gerard, brothers Charlie and Peter, sisters Lily and Mary. Beloved father to Sheila, Stephen and David. Sadly missed by his loving family, daughters in law Linda, Edel and Therese, grandchildren Mark, Carl, Jake, Sam, Zara and Ben, great grandchild Callum, brothers John and Joe, sister Antoinette, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing at his home this Wednesday and Thursday evening from 5pm to 7pm for family and close friends only. Removal Friday morning to the Church of the Holy Spirit, Greenhills, for Funeral Mass at 10am, followed by burial thereafter at Palmerstown Cemetery.The capacity of the church is limited to 50%, but the Funeral Mass can be viewed live using the parish webcam available CLICK HERE.
