Barrett, (Sandyford, Dublin) – February 9th, 2021 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff of St. James’ Hospital, Gerard (Ger), beloved husband of Julie (nee O’Reilly) and much loved father of Lucy and James, deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, Lucy’s partner Yannick, granddaughter Lola, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, friends and his loyal companion Peanut.

Ger’s Funeral Cortège is expected to leave JP Ward & Sons Funeral Home, Sandyford Village on Saturday (February 13th) at 2:15pm and will proceed through Sandyford Village and then down the Sandyford Road towards Dundrum. Anyone wishing to line the route are welcome to do so while observing guidelines relating to social distancing and the wearing of face masks. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral and cannot due to current restrictions may leave a personal message for the family in the section “Condolences” on the bottom of this notice.
