Late of McDermott Avenue, Janesboro and Marian Avenue, Roxboro, Limerick.

Former Lord Mayor of Limerick City.

Peacefully, in the loving care of the wonderful staff of Saoirse Ward, St. Camillus Hospital, Limerick, on 31st December, 2024.

Predeceased by his wife Maura and parents Gerard and May.

Ger will be sadly missed by his loving family, brothers Eugene, Dermot and Michael, sisters Geraldine (Sadlier), Rita (Wallace) and Caroline (Hudner), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, great neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate, on Friday, 3rd January from 5pm to 6:30pm. Funeral arriving at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Janesboro, on Saturday, 4th January for Requiem Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in Mount St. Oliver Cemetery.
