The death has occurred of
Gerard (Gerry) Barry
BARRY, Gerard (Gerry) late of Westfields, Clare Road, Ennis, Co. Clare & Reenmeen, Glengarriff, Co. Cork, former member of An Garda Síochána. On 11th June 2021 peacefully at his residence.
Sadly missed by his loving wife Josephine, daughters Louise and Ciara, sons Andrew and Damien and their respective partners, his brother Kevin, grandchildren Hollie, Sophie and Jack. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Margaret and his brothers, Seán and Michael. Deeply regretted by his sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, wonderful neighbours and wide circle of friends.
May he rest in peace.
Gerry's funeral cortège will be leaving his residence at approx. 2pm on Monday 14th June to arrive at SS Peter and Paul Cathedral, Ennis for Requiem Mass at 2.30pm. Followed by burial in Drumcliff Cemetery, Ennis.
Josephine and family would welcome friends and neighbours to give him a guard of honour as he leaves his home on his final journey.
Mass will be restricted in accordance with government guidelines.
Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Milford Care Centre. House private, please.
