Gerard (Gerry) Beatty

The death has occurred of Gerard (Gerry) Beatty, Jacksonville, Florida, USA and formerly of Coris, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon suddenly after a short illness. Predeceased by his father Seamus, brother Eddie (London), sisters Frances, Rachel and baby Olive-Nuala. Gerry will be sadly missed by his loving wife Carolyn, sons Johnny and Seth, daughter Ashley, mother Mary (Corlis), brothers Jimmy (Clare) and Liam (Corlis), sisters Mary Cox (Fermanagh), Cathy Cribbs (London) and Evelyn Bergin (Castlerea), grandchildren McKenzie and Madison, uncle Fr. Liam Kelly (Jacksonville, Florida), four aunties, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law,  nieces,  nephews, many cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2023, from 6pm to 8pm in the chapel of Quinn Shalz Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 30th, at 1:30 PM in St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Jacksonville.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated in Castlerea at a later date.
