16th May, 1955 - 17th June, 2024

 

Passed away, peacefully, after a short illness, in the wonderful care of the ICU staff at the Blackrock Clinic, Dublin. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Mai, brothers Padraig, Donal and Micheál and brother-in-law Seamus. Gerry will be very sadly missed by his devoted wife Rita (neé Sharkey), loving daughter Deirdre, sister Mary (Dublin), brother Addie (London), brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Brady’s Funeral Home, Elphin on Thursday evening (20th June) from 4.30pm with Removal at 7pm to St, Attracta’s Church, Ballinameen (via Acres). Funeral Mass on Friday (21st June) at 12noon. Gerry will be laid to rest afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
