Gerard (Gerry) Gaffney

Peacefully in the company of his family while in the tender care of the doctors and nurses at St. James’s Hospital. Sadly missed and deeply regretted by his beloved wife Lily and their children Deborah, Gerard, Graham, Nicola, Lee, Clare and Janice, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, his cherished grandchildren  Mark, Sabrina, Shane, Shauna, Craig, Aoife, Lee, Mariam, Chelsea, Kerry, Dylan, Cillian, Indie, Rudi and his great granddaughter Ellie, brother Tony, sisters Jean, Adrianne and Elaine, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Gerry was recently predeceased by his sister Angela.

Gerry will repose at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum (D14 F3X2) on Monday 2nd January 2023 from 3pm to 5pm. Funeral Mass will take place at 10am in the Church of the Good Shepherd, Churchtown on Tuesday 3rd January 2023 followed by cremation at the Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome,  Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6W.
