Gerard (Gerry) Keegan

The death has occurred of Gerard (Gerry) Keegan (Firhouse and late of Rathfarnham, Dublin). Died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family and dear friends, after a long courageous battle on the 5th of October. Predeceased by his beloved son Paul and cherished wife Marie. Devoted Dad to Fiona and Jennifer and adored Grandad of Eamon, Erica, Jamie, Luke, Mallaidh, Mia and Jack. Sadly missed by his sons in law, John and Steven, daughter in law Ciara, his brother and sister, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, great neighbours and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, Willbrook, Rathfarnham, Friday, 10th of October 2025, from 5.30 to 7.30pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday (11th of October) in the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Firhouse at 10 am, followed by Cremation in The Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harold's Cross.
