Gerard (Gerry) Magee

The death has occurred of Gerard (Gerry) Magee. Crann Nua & formerly Ulster Bank, Carrickmacross. 23rd November 2020. Peacefully at his home, following an illness borne with courage and dignity, surrounded by his beloved family. Predeceased by his parents Henry & Catherine, his brother Harry and his sisters Kathleen, Bernie & Mary. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, his beloved wife Sheila, his son Brian and his daughters Barbara (Reay), Geraldine (Roche-Garland) and Aideen (Nolan), sons-in-law Aaron, Richard and Gavin, his adored grandchildren Conor, Colm, Ronan, LauraLouise, David, Paddy, Tom & Hugo, his brothers Patrick & Sean and his sister Ena, his nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

In accordance with current guidelines Gerry's Funeral Mass will take place for family only in St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, on Wednesday, 25th November 2020, at 11am, followed by burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Dundalk. There will be an opportunity for the community to pay their respects as Gerry's funeral cortège leave's Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home on Wednesday at 10:45am proceeding to St. Joseph's Church. 

To keep each other safe it is important that we follow the guidelines from the government and HSE, wear face coverings in appropriate circumstances, maintain social distancing and  refrain from shaking hands and hugging.
