MORAN Gerard (Gerry), Superintendent Retd., An Garda Siochana (Moorefield Drive, Newbridge and late of The Commons, Navan, Co. Meath) - 19th March 2026 (peacefully) at home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents John and Margaret, brothers Vincent and John, sister Margaret, sisters-in-law Helen and Maureen, brothers-in-law Paddy, Tommy and Toddy, Sadly missed by his loving wife and best friend Betty, sons and daughter John, Tom, Margaret, Gerard and Peter, daughters-in-law Eileen, Lucy, Deirdre, and Edel, son-in-law Matthew, his devoted grandchildren Caelim, Muirna, Fionn, Matthew, Nóra, Mary, Éamon, Eibhlín, Seán, Eilís, Gearóid, his sister Mary, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Anderson & Leahy's Funeral Home, Henry Street, Newbridge on Friday from 4pm with prayers at 7pm. Removal from his residence on Saturday morning at 10.30am to arrive at Cill Mhuire, Ballmany for 11am Mass. Mass can be viewed on https://mcn.live/Camera/cill-mhuire-church Funeral afterwards to St. Conleth's Cemetery, Newbridge.
