Gerard (Gerry) Smith

Smith, Gerard (Gerry), 9th June 2024 (late of Kimmage Road West), peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the kind care of the staff of Bellvilla Nursing Home. Beloved husband of the late Maura, loving and adored dad of Geraldine and Kenneth and wonderful grandad to Sandra, Amy, Jessica, Megan and Sarah Louise, cherished great grandad of Sophie and Hannah. Gerry will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his loving daughter. son, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, son-in-law John, granddaughter Sandra’s husband Matthew, sister Margaret, brother Johnny, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village, on Tuesday (11th June) from 5pm to 7pm. A Funeral Service to celebrate Gerry’s life will take place on Wednesday (12th June) in the Temple, Newlands Cross Crematorium, followed by Cremation, arriving at approximately 10am.
