Tierney, St. Brendan’s, Ballygar, Co. Galway, May 1st, 2025, peacefully at his residence, Gerard (Gerry). Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Mary Ellen and his brother-in-law Eddie Byrne). Dearly loved husband of Bernie, cherished father of Shane, Kevin, Caroline, Claire, Lauren and Conor and adored grandfather of Katie and Jamie. Sadly missed by his loving family, brothers Michael and Padraig (Dunboyne), sisters Josephine (Byrne, Trim), Annie (Murphy, England), Bernie (Lane, Abbeyknockmoy), Noreen (Cummins, England), sons-in-law Adrian and Simon, daughter-in-law Claire, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Moran’s Funeral Home, Ballygar F42K443 on Saturday evening from 4 o’clock until 7 o’clock. Removal from his residence on Sunday morning to St. Mary’s Church, Ballygar for Funeral Mass at 12.30 o’clock followed by burial in Ballygar Cemetery. House private please.
