Gerard Hayden

It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Gerard who passed away peacefully in University Hospital Limerick on 7th March 2026 surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Mary and Michael, his baby daughter Brenda and his brother Francis. Deeply loved and very sadly missed by his wife Joan, his children Jennifer, Frances and Geraldine, sons in law Thad, Michael and Keith, grandchildren Evan, Mary, Niamh, Leah and Millie, his brothers Michael and Chris and his sister Helen (Doab). Fondly remembered by his sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews,extended family and friends.

Reposing at his home (eircode V42CC03) on Tuesday 10th March from 5.30pm to 7pm. Arriving at the Church Of The Immaculate Conception, Newcastle West for requiem Mass on Wednesday 11th March at 11.30am. Followed by cremation at Shannon crematorium.
