The death has occurred of
Gerard (Major Tom) Ward
27th April 2018 in UHG after a long illness. Deeply regretted by his son Nigel, daughter Sarah and their mother Eilish. Sadly missed by his father Sonny, mother Mary, brother John and sister Anita, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of friends.
Arriving at St. Patrick’s Church, St. Patrick’s Street, Castlerea for Mass at 1 o’clock on Saturday, 28th April. Removal afterwards to the NUIG donor programme to honour Gerard’s request to aid silent teaching in University College Galway. Family flowers only by request, donations, if desired, to ICU Family Rooms UHG.
