Gerard McHugh

Gerard McHugh (late of Foilmacduff, Hollyford, Co. Tipperary and London), March 7th 2026, Gerard passed away peacefully after a brief illness, in the care of Cluain Arann, Tipperary.

Predeceased by his parents Jilly and Johnny, his brothers Paddy and Eddie and his sister Margaret.

Deeply regretted by his brothers Myles, John and Martin, his sisters Helen and Maria, brother-in-law Walter, sisters-in-law Noreen and Mary, nieces, nephews, his extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Whites Funeral Home Cappawhite (E34 WR83) Monday evening (9th March) from 5 pm with removal at 7 pm to St. Joseph’s Church Hollyford. Requiem Mass Tuesday at 11.30 am followed by burial in Hollyford cemetery.

Family flowers only, Donations if desired to Cluain Arann.

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff of Clonmel Hospital, Cluain Arann, Drogheda Hospital, Guy’s Hospital London and his palliative care team for the care and kindness shown to Gerard.
