Gerard Michael ROONEY
ROONEY Gerard Michael (Navan and formerly of Balbriggan, Co Dublin and Laytown, Co Meath) October 16th 2025 Peacefully, at his home. Predeceased by his beloved wife Irene, his parents Michael and Teresa and brother David. Gerard will be sadly missed by his daughters Celine and Edel, son Alan, sons-in-law Eamonn and Conor, daughter-in-law Lynn, grandchildren Jack, Sophie, Lily, Liam and Sé and his brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, his mother-in-law Kathleen, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at F Watson & Son Funeral Directors, Dyer St, Drogheda (A92 W7EP) on Tuesday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning in Sacred Heart Church, Laytown at 11am which can be viewed live on https://www.youtube.com/@joefinneganmedia Burial afterwards in Reilig Mhuire, Piltown.
