Unexpectedly at Cobh Community Hospital

Beloved son of Phil and the late Matthew, dear brother of Patrick, Tony, Helena and the late Martin, uncle of the late Mark and brother- in- law of the late Sheila.

Gerard will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother, brothers, sister, nieces Orla, Laura and Casey, nephew Daryl, grandnieces,grandnephews Lauren, Amy, Evan, Faye and Ben, sister -in- law Lucia, Helena’s partner JJ, cousins, relatives and friends especially those in the deaf community.

Gerard will repose at Cahill's funeral home, Newtown Rd., Cobh P24Y383 on Wednesday December 3rd from 5.30pm with prayers at 7pm. Removal from Cahill’s funeral home on Thursday December 4th at 10.30am to St. Colman’s Cathedral for 11am Requiem Mass followed by burial in St. Colman’s Cemetery

Gerard’s family would like to thank the staff of the cardiac unit at Cork University Hospital and the staff of Cobh Community Hospital and the warfarin clinic for the wonderful care shown to Gerard.
