The death has occurred of
Gerard O'Connor
O'Connor (Sean Chnoc, Ballinacubby, Kinsale and formerly of Streatham, London) on October 11th 2025, peacefully in the presence of his loving family in Cork University Hospital. Gerard, beloved husband of Phil, dear father of Sinead and Johannah and son of the late Paddy and Pearl O'Connor.
Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, sons-in-law Kurt and Christian, his adored grandchildren Megan and James, sister Denny, brother-in-law Brendan, niece Anne and nephew Paddy and their spouses and children, Phil's brothers, sisters and their spouses and children, and Gerard's cousins, extended family, neighbours and many friends.
Gerard will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, Kinsale on Monday from 5pm followed by prayers at 6pm.
Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 2pm in St. John the Baptist Church, Kinsale which will be livestreamed on www.churchservices.tv/kinsale, after which Gerard will be laid to rest in the Abbey Cemetery.
