Gerard (also known as Gerry the Hand) O'Shaughnessy
On January 8th 2025, peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by his loving family.
Beloved husband of Geraldine and much loved father of Jean and Pat.
He will be greatly missed by his family, daughter-in-law Erin, adored grandchildren, brothers, sister, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.
Pre-deceased by his parents Paddy and Mary, nephew Keith and brother-in-law John Nealon.

Reposing at Cross's Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, Sunday, January 12th, from 1.30pm to 3pm, followed by removal to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Childers Road.
Requiem Mass Monday, January 13th, at 11am, funeral afterwards to Mount St. Oliver Cemetery.
Gerard's family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of the Oncology Unit and the High Dependency Unit of University Hospital Limerick for their exceptional care and support.
