GERARD PAYNE

Formerly of Nicholas Street and Ballynanty, Limerick.

Gerard died peacefully, but unexpectedly, at his home, after a long illness bravely borne, on 26th August 2025.

Pre-deceased by his father Anthony, brother Eugene, niece Martina and nephew Kenneth.

Sadly missed and much loved by his mother Marie, daughters Niamh (Morgan), Ciara (Moroney) and Clodagh (Mullan), son-in-law Des, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate on Friday, 29th August from 5pm to 6:30pm, followed by Removal to St. Munchin’s Church, Clancy Strand. Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday, 30th August at 11am. Funeral afterwards to Ballycannon Cemetery, Meelick.
