The death has occurred of
Gerard Whelan
Gerard Whelan, (Chestnut Grove and An Post, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath) – September 7, 2018 (peacefully following a short illness) surrounded by his devoted family in the tender care of the Matron and staff of the Midland Regional Hospital. Loving husband and best friend of Evelyn, adored father of Sinead (Murray) and Joe and very dear son of Eileen and the late Joseph. Gerard will be very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife and family, sisters Margaret, Ursula and Colette, brothers Donal, Joseph and Kevin, mother-in-law Eileen, son-in-law Patrick, aunt, uncle, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, his colleagues in An Post and many friends.
MAY GERARD REST IN PEACE
Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 10 o’c in the Cathedral of Christ the King followed by private cremation. Family flowers only and house private please.
