Gerard Wilde (Terenure, Dublin 6W. Late of Independent Newspapers and The Irish Times) 23rd September 2024. Peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff of the Misa Ward at St James’ Hospital. Dearly beloved husband of Maureen. Gerard will be very sadly and deeply missed by his loving wife and family Vivienne, Gerard, Annette, Yvonne, Mark, Alan, Emma and Sarah, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, his daughters-in-law Eileen, Catherine and Linda, sons-in-law Martin, Michael, Brendan, Nicholas and Jim, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Lower Kimmage Road on Wednesday evening (25th Sept) between 5pm and 7pm. Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of St Paul of the Cross, Mount Argus for Funeral Mass at 11.30 am followed by burial in Mount Jerome Cemetery, Harold’s Cross D6W HY98.
