Gerrard (Gerry) Mc Donnell, Laurel Court, Drogheda, Co. Louth. 6th April 2026. Peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff in Gormanston Wood Nursing Home, surrounded by his beloved family. Predeceased by his adored wife Betty, son-in-law Enda, brother Joe and sister Doreen. Gerry will be sadly missed and always remembered with love by his sons David and Ian, daughter Elaine, daughters-in-law Rita and Helga, Elaines partner Jim, grandchildren Edel, Niall, Conor, Ellen, Ciarán, Alex, Jack, Anna Kate and James, all his great grandchildren, brothers Paddy and Gerry’s twin Liam, sister Ann, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Gerry’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at his home on Thursday evening from 4pm until 7pm.

Funeral Mass will take place on Friday at 11am in Holy Family Church, Ballsgrove, proceeding on foot from his home at 10.40am.

Burial will take place afterwards in Calvary Cemetery.
