Gerry Black

The death has occurred of Gerry Black, 32 Park Rd Drumillard, Castleblayney, Co.Monaghan on Tuesday December 23rd peacefully, surrounded by his family in the exceptional care of the nurses and staff of the Louth County Hospital Dundalk.

Predeceased by his parents William and Beatrice and brother Roy.

Gerry, deeply regretted and remembered with love by his heartbroken family, wife Mary, sons and daughters Siobhan (Shay), Michael (Capri), Julieanne (Ben), Paul (Cris), Caroline (Joel), Louise (Paul) and Gerald, his eleven cherished grandchildren Daniel (Alisha), Ella, Adam, Ian, Mia, Emi-Lu, Ewan, Eve, Ben, Cara and Chloe, his adored great-granddaughter Demi, brothers Alan and Colin, sister Wendy, brothers in law, sisters in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Gerry will repose at Wards Funeral Home Castleblayney (A75NP30) on Friday (St.Stephen’s Day) from 3pm until 7pm. Removal from the funeral home on Saturday morning at 10:45am (proceeding on foot) to arrive at St.Mary’s Church Castleblayney for funeral mass at 11am, followed by private cremation in Lakelands Crematorium Cavan.
