Gerry BYRNE

BYRNE, Gerry (Templeroan, Templeogue and formerly of Churchtown and TJ O’Mahony, Ballymount) (25 August 2018) (peacefully) after a long illness bravely borne with great dignity, surrounded by his loving family. Will be deeply missed and remembered with much love by his wife and best friend Geraldine, children David, Anita, Tara and Keith, daughter-in-law Lynn, son-in-law Tim Lombard, Tara’s partner Tristan Harmon, his cherished grandchildren David, Jessica, Rhys and Aaron, brothers and sisters Brendan, Catherine and Robert, nephews, nieces, relatives, cousins, many friends, wonderful neighbours and fellow AA members. A special thanks to the Oncology department at St James’s Hospital and to Dr Gallagher.

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Willbrook Road, Rathfarnham, on Monday evening (27 August) from 6 pm to 8 pm.  Removal on Tuesday morning (28 August) to the Church of the Good Shepherd, Churchtown, arriving at 9.50 am for 10 am Funeral Mass followed by burial at Kilmashogue Cemetery. House private. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross.
