GERRY CARRAGHER

The death has occurred of Gerry Carragher, Moneyvolan, Annyalla, Castleblayney, Monaghan, Sunday October 11th, peacefully, in the loving care of his family at his residence in his 87th year. Gerry, predeceased by his son Paul, wives Mary-Brigid and Bridie, sister Eileen and brothers JJ, Paddy and Hugh. Deeply regretted by his daughter Cathriona, sons Pat, Brendan, Ciaran and Enda, his brother Michael (New York), his sisters Rose (New York) and Mae (Castleblayney), sister in law Sue Carragher (Birmingham) son in law and daughters in law, grandchildren and extended family of relatives, neighbours and many friends. 

May Gerry’s Soul Rest in Peace

Gerry will repose among family only, at his residence, until his removal Tuesday, October 13th, at 10.30am, to arrive at St. Michael’s Church Annyalla for funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private at all times, please.

Due to the continued restrictions on public gatherings, Gerry's Requiem Mass will be celebrated in private in the presence of his family, restricted to 25. Family flowers only please, donations to Palliative Care c/o Peter Mc Caughey Funeral Director. Those who would have liked to attend but due to current restrictions cannot, the family invite you to leave a personal message in the condolences section below.
