Gerry Devitt

Gerry (Philip) Devitt, Kilcoole and late of Bray, Co. Wicklow. Died peacefully at St. Vincent’s University Hospital surrounded by his loving family on 28th August 2025. Will be sadly missed by his adored wife and soulmate Joan, his devoted daughter Julie and loving son Colin, son-in-law Damien, his wonderful grandsons Dylan and Joshua and Colin’s partner Ela.

Predeceaced by his sister and brothers Francie, Dan and Tony. Sadly missed by his sisters May and Antoinette, and his brothers Jimmy and Harry, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Thomas Murphy and Sons Funeral Home, Boghall Road, Bray (A98R673) on Monday 1st September from 6-7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday 2nd September at 10am in St. Anthony’s Church, Kilcoole for Funeral Mass followed by interment in Kilquade New Cemetery.
