Gerry Downes
Downes. Gerry (Retired memeber of An Garda Siochana) Kiltartan, Gort, Co, Galway and formerly of Clonreddan, Cooraclare, Co.Clare. Peacefully at home after a short illness on the 3rd of March 2017 .Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his heartbroken family, wife Catherine, daughters Karen and Sandra and son Colin, son in law Richard, Colins fiancee Tara, grandchildren Sadie, Noah and Jayden. Brothers and Sisters, brothers in law, sisters in law, mother in law, nephews, nieces and a wide circle of family, relatives, neighbours and many friends. R.I.P.
Reposing at his residence Kiltartan, Gort on Sunday evening March the 5th from 3pm until 6pm. Private removal on Monday morning March the 6th to St. Colman's Church Gort for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in Kiltartan Cemetery. Family flowers only by request please donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society.
