GERRY GARDINER

GARDINER GERRY. Cappard, Peterswell, Co. Galway. Gerry slipped away suddenly, but peacefully, at his home, on Wednesday, the 25th of October 2023.

 

Pre-deceased by his dear mother Mary Joe and recently by his beloved father Paddy.

 

Cherished and much-loved, Gerry will be sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Breda, by his adored children Paul, Brian, Derek, Edel and by Paul’s wife Geraldine & Brian’s partner Alva. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Michael, Conor and Aoife. Forever loved by his sisters and brother Patricia (Loughnane), John & Christina, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Deeply regretted by his uncle Peter and aunts Margaret and Teresa, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, godchildren, extended family, relatives, fantastic neighbours and many great friends.

Gerry will lie in repose in Monahan’s Funeral Home, Labane, on Sunday, the 29th of October, from 5pm. Removal at 7pm to St. Thomas’s Church, Peterswell. Requiem Mass will take place on Monday, October 30th, at 12 noon. Gerry will be laid to rest afterwards in Castledaly cemetery.

Gerry’s family deeply appreciate your kindness, loyalty, love and support at this time.
