Gerry Gavin

The death has occurred of Gerry Gavin, Clonagore, Clones, Co. Monaghan, Saturday 21st March 2026, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his son Gerard, his parents John and Mary-Agnes and his brother John.

Much loved husband of Maureen and cherished father of Marie (Francie), Christine (Arab), Geraldine (Eamonn), Pauline (Andy), John-Joe (Angela), Kieran (Sinead), Declan (Sarah) and Aidan (Eileen). Gerry will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, daughters, sons, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends and by all who knew and loved Gerry

Gerry will resting at his son Kieran and daughter-in-law sinead's residence Roranna, Drumully, Clones (H23 XE97) on Sunday (22nd) and again Monday (23rd) from 4pm to 8pm. Removal from the family residence, Clonagore, Clones on Tuesday afternoon 24th March, to St Alphonsus Church, Connons, Clontask, Co. Monaghan (H23 YP22) for 2pm Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
