The death has occurred of
Gerry (Gerard) Byrne
Phibsborough and formerly of Santry and Clontarf.
Gerry passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully, at the Mater Hospital. Beloved partner and best friend of Margo Brady, loving father of Margaret, Louise and Eamonn, doting grandfather of Megan, Emma, Amy, Seán, Keith, Rachel, Eve and Jacob, and much loved brother of Angela, Kevin, Paul and the late Joseph. He will be very sadly missed by Margo, his daughters and son, grandchildren, sister and brothers, sons-in-law Stephen and Martin, daughter-in-law Jen, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at the Fanagan Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand on Thursday afternoon (Dec.12) with Family in attendance from 5 o'clock until 7 o'clock. Requiem Mass on Friday morning (Dec. 13) at 10 o'clock in St. Anthony's Church, Clontarf. Funeral thereafter to Dardistown Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gerry can be made to the Irish Cancer Society.
