The death has occurred of
Gerry (Gerard) MORTIMER
Mortimer, Gerry (Gerard) – Rathfarnham, late of Technological University Dublin, died peacefully on the 18th of April 2026, in the exceptional care of Orwell Healthcare. Darling husband and best friend of Marie (née Lyons), and dearest Dad of Rachel and David.
Remembered with love by his brother Eddie, sister Mary (Kneafsey), sister-in-law Pat, brother-in-law Michael Lyons and family in New Zealand, niece Eimear, nephews Brian and Eoghan, grand-nephews, daughter-in-law Tara, son-in-law Bjørn, extended family including Mary Daly, his relatives and friends.
Reposing at home 5pm to 8pm Wednesday (April 22nd). Commemoration of Gerry’s life at 4pm Thursday (April 23rd) in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to UNICEF Ireland at https://www.unicef.ie
