Peacefully, in the dedicated care of the staff of Southern Area Hospice, Newry. Predeceased by his beloved wife Colleen (née Merrick), parents Lily and Paddy, stepfather Tommy Nugent, brother Joe and brothers-in-law Pat and Eddie. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing son Patrick Pearse, daughter Nicole, grandsons Gerry and Ciaran, sisters and brothers Ann, Martin, Marie, Tom, Pat and Noel, sisters-in-law Arlene, Bernie and Teresa, nephews, nieces, his extended family circle, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his home, 19 Ardaveen Drive, Newry BT35 8UH from 1pm-8pm on Monday, March 3rd and from 12 noon-8pm on Tuesday, March 4th. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, March 5th at 12 noon in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Cloghogue, followed by cremation at Dardistown Crematorium, Old Airport Road, Dublin, arriving for Committal Service at 3pm.
