Gerry Kelly, Glaun, Lissycasey, Co. Clare, peacefully at Galway University Hospital.
A Poem by Gerry Kelly.
"As I sit here in my hospital bed.
Sure things go rambling through my head,
The dreams and laughter of yester years.
The joys, the happiness and some tears".
"Remembering those who have passed on,
Some were old and some too young.
Of those who taught and brought us up,
The values they had were quite good".
"And now I'll stop my rambling note,
And James Joyce now I'll quote:
I've lived
I've loved
I've laughed
But...
I've still not left".
