GERRY McCauley

Formerly of Drumard, Mohill, Co. Leitrim. Gerry died peacefully at home in the care of his heartbroken family on January 28th 2025. Predeceased by his parents Barney and Mary. Gerry will be forever missed and always remembered with love, by his wife and best friend Imelda, his adored daughters Sarah and Niamh, brothers Michael, Brian and Sean, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and his many good friends, also his work colleagues and his loyal customers of The Tyre Warehouse, Granard.

You were always someone special,
Someone kind and true
Who will never be forgotten,
For we thought the world of you.

Reposing in Connell’s Funeral Home, Church St, Longford, N39 KN66 on Friday 31st from 6 o’clock concluding with prayers 8 o’clock. Removal from his home on Saturday 1st February to arrive to St. Mary’s Church, Newtownforbes, for Funeral Mass at 12 o’clock. Following Mass, Gerry will be laid to rest in the local cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society c/o Connell Funeral Directors or any family member.

Family home strictly private at all times please.
