Gerry McGee

Gerry died peacefully, in his 91st yr, after a short illness, in Mullingar Regional Hospital, on August 8th, 2023, surrounded by his family. Formerly of Leitrim County Council. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Annie, sister Nancy Flanagan and grandson Eoin Kellegher, Gerry is survived by his wife Anna, daughters and sons-in-law Ann Mulligan (Kevin), Fionnuala Sheehan (Mark), Gráinne Dunne (Ger), Clíodhna Kelleger (Paul) and Orla McKeon (Dermot), brothers Joe and Noel (USA), sister-in-law Mary McGee (USA), adored grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing in Connell's Funeral Home, Church St, Longford, N39P0E8, on Thursday, Aug 10th from 6pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Private Cremation on Friday 11th (Family Only). Family flowers only, please, Donations, in lieu, to Palliative Care, Medical 1, Mullingar Regional Hospital, c/o Connell Funeral Directors or any family member.

Funeral cortege will leave Connell's Funeral Home on Friday morning, traveling, via Gerry's home in Mohill, at approximately 11.30am on route to Lakelands Crematorium.
