and formerly of Rathcash, Clifden, Co. Kilkenny.
Gerry passed away on 28th March 2026, peacefully, in the exceptional care of the staff of the Suir Ward at St. Luke's Hopsital, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Predeceased by his parents James and Bridget. Gerry will be dearly missed by his loving family, brothers John and Willie, sisters Mary, Kathleen, Josie, Lily, Teresa and Brigid, sisters-in-law Anne and Mary, brothers-in-law Mikey, Michael, Micéal, Tony, Dominic and Alan, his nephews and nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, his beloved SOS family and his many friends.
Gerry's family would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to SOS Kilkenny for the love and care shown to their brother during his years spent with them.
May his gentle soul Rest in Peace

Reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home, John's Green, Kilkenny (R95XE00) on Monday (30th March) from 4pm to 7pm pausing for Prayers at 5.45pm.
Requiem Mass on Tuesday morning at 11am in St. Colman's Church, Clara. (R95 K290)
Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
