Gerry Morgan

The death has occurred of Gerry Morgan, Drogheda, Co. Meath and formerly of The Forge, Man-O-War, Skerries, Co. Dublin, on 18th April 2026. Gerry passed away peacefully, aged 94 years, surrounded by his devoted family, in the excellent care of the staff at Moorehall Lodge, Balbriggan.

He was predeceased by his cherished wife Margaret (née McDonnell), his parents Jack and Margaret, and his siblings Sonny, May, Madge, Seán, Oliver, Patty, Nora, Kay, Dessie, Sheila, Imelda, Bernie, and Carmel.

Gerry will be very sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving family and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing in Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes, Drogheda (A92 XN75) on Tuesday from 4pm until 7.30pm.

Funeral Mass at 1.30pm on Wednesday afternoon in St Peter and Paul’s Church, Balbriggan, which can be viewed live on www.balbrigganparish.com/web-camera

Gerry’s burial will take place afterwards in St MacCullins Cemetery, Lusk.
