Gerry Murtagh, (Clinton’s Lane, Beamore Road, Drogheda) September 23rd, 2021 (suddenly) at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, predeceased by his son Gerard, beloved and devoted husband of Kathleen (nee Ward) and cherished father of Tommy, Mary, Catherine, Liam, Joan. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, brother Eamonn, sister Anne, sisters-in-law Noeline and Olive, brother-in-law Jim, sons-in-law Pat, Gavin and Dave, daughters-in-law Mary and Noreen, grandchildren Ciara, Beth, Lorcan, Eoin, Tadgh, Conor, Paul, Shane, Daragh and Donncha.

May he Rest in Peace

Gerry will repose at his home on Saturday (Sept 25th) from 4pm to 7pm and again on Sunday (Sept 26th) from 4pm to 7pm. Removal on Monday afternoon (Sept 27th) to St. Mary’s Church, James Street arriving for 2pm Mass (church limited to 50% of normal capacity), followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery. Gerry’s funeral cortège will leave his residence on Monday at 1:35pm and will proceed at a walking pace to St. Mary’s Church.
