It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerry SMYTH, Ballinderry, Mullingar, November 22, 2024 after a long illness; predeceased by his mother Bridie, father John, brother Brian and sister Eithne (Gavin).

Gerry will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Margaret and daughters Lorraine and Barbara, much loved granddaughter Bláithín, dear sister Evelyn (Prendergast), her husband Kevin,brother in law Vincent (Gavin), nieces Helen, Anne, Ruth, Bridget Ann and nephews John, Vinny and Johnie.

Reposing at Shaws Funeral Home, Bishopsgate St., Mullingar on Tuesday November 26, from 4.00 o'c. concluding with prayers at 6.00 o'c. Removal to the Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar arriving at 6.30 o'c. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 11.00 o'c., followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan. Family flowers only please.
